THIS MONTH’S HIGHLIGHT

ESGAR 2017 in Athens: Research development and innovation in the ancient birthplace of science

Dear readers,

The 28th annual meeting of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) was held one month ago, but the impression of that unique scientific experience is still alive. To offer you the opportunity to relive those three intense, exciting days dedicated to the field of abdominal diagnostic and interventional radiology, and to share the event with non-attendees, we propose here Professor Laghi’s detailed and comprehensive description of ESGAR 2017.

We would also like you to savor the atmosphere of the congress by watching a video of Professor Morana's lecture on liver imaging, which was given during the Bracco Satellite Symposium.

Finally, since the meeting put particular emphasis on training and education through various ways including interactive case-based workshops, herein we propose two new clinical cases and a few past clinical cases from the public.pixelentropy.eu/mdct-new archive that highlight the fundamental contribution of MDCT in the diagnosis of abdominal pathologies.

We remind you that suggestions for new topics to be covered in future issues are always welcome. Please contact us at editorial@public.pixelentropy.eu/mdct-new.
