Dear MDCT.net users,
In memory of Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen’s discovery of X-rays
on
8 November 1895, the European Society of Radiology, the Radiological Society of
North America, and the American College of Radiology are celebrating the third
International Day of Radiology.
Each year, the International Day of Radiology is dedicated to a particular theme and, this
year, that theme is
brain imaging. The sponsoring societies, together with associations all over the
world, are holding events to honor the fundamental role of brain imaging in the detection,
diagnosis and management of neurological diseases.
We wish to join in this special celebration by highlighting the role of MDCT in the
diagnosis of brain pathologies. For this purpose, we have collected here in this newsletter a
series of cases in which MDCT played a fundamental part of the clinical diagnosis.
We remind you that suggestions for new topics to be covered in future issues are
appreciated: for this purpose please contact us at
editorial@mdct.net
