Dear MDCT.net Users,
Three years have now passed since
MDCT.net – the reference website on multidetector computed tomography technology and
practice – was launched. The site has been regularly updated with news and commentary, illustrated
clinical cases and selected fulltext articles from the research literature. Videorecordings
(e-lectures) from this year's European Congress of Radiology and from the annual meeting of the
European Society of Thoracic Imaging have also been added.
With this last newsletter of 2010, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new section
called "Focus on".
Contributions in this section will examine the technical and clinical aspects of MDCT for a
particular disease, illustrating the typical imaging patterns and highlighting unexpected
difficulties in image interpretation. This section, as well as the clinical cases section, will
have a new graphical layout that simplifies navigation and visualization of the contents.
We thank you for your continued interest in our website and send our best wishes for the
coming year.
Scientific Board and staff of MDCT.net
