Dear Friends of MDCT.net,

As our second year of activity comes to a close, we would like to thank you for your interest and continued attention to our site.

In this year, MDCT.net has continued its efforts to bring you timely and insightful information on important issues in multidetector CT. Numerous clinical cases have been prepared, the protocol section has been updated and the full texts of relevant articles have been added monthly to the Selected Literature database. The sections "Hot Topic" and "Reviewed for You" have been regularly updated.

The graphical interface of MDCT.net has also been restructured to improve usability and facilitate navigation. One new feature on the home page is “Highlights”, a window on one important issue. All clinical cases are now indexed not only by body area but also by final diagnosis, to facilitate searching. A new section called “E-books” was added to give rapid access to online books. Moreover, a subject category for musculoskeletal imaging was added, with relevant clinical cases and literature. We believe that these improvements will strengthen the utility of MDCT.net for the scientific community interested in MDCT technology and applications.

We hope you will continue to visit MDCT.net and will spread word among your colleagues about its professional content and value.

With this final newsletter of 2008, we send our greetings for the holiday season and wish you the best for the coming new year.
